    Homogenizing

If a uniform mixture is produced from different components that are not soluble in each other, this process is called homogenization. Solids and miscible liquids are mainly homogenized by suitable stirring processes. In the case of immiscible liquids, a homogeneous network of tiny droplets produces a stable mixture. In contrast to emulsions and suspensions, homogenization produces the mixture without emulsifier (auxiliary materials/stabilizers) and exclusively with mechanical energy.

ProXES offers a wide range of different mixing and stirring units for the preparation of liquid and solid materials. Based on a modular design principle, the appropriate combination of vessel and mixing element can be put together for each process step and individually designed to meet customer and process requirements. In addition to our own decades of experience in application technology, we also draw on the expertise of external cooperation partners (e.g. in solids handling) when required.
